THE blockbuster trade of the century, darhhling
It's official - Cliff Lee of the Philadelphia Phillies is now a Mariner - at least for one year, hopefully, we do so well and the clubhouse atmosphere makes Lee feel that he should continue staying in Seattle (which isn't hard, to this loyal M's fan right here). =P
and he's hot - confirming my rather biased idea that the Mariners have the best-looking team in Major League right now. heh. They have the hot Asian (come on, Ichiro is probably the hottest Asian guy in MLB right now - dont tell me Chien-Ming Wang?!), Guti is probably the sexiest outfielder there is, Michael Saunders love!, Ryan Rowland-Smith in those glasses *faint, Jack Hannahan's smile, and Felix looking sexy in those high stockings (yah, i know, Im probably the only one who loves it).. I could go on.
4.12am: listening to 710 espn seattle live right now; Brock and Salk on with Jack Z woohooo everyone's who a Mariner fan probably has loads of love for this wonder of a GM for the ballclub. =D
After acquiring Chone Figgins and now a Cy Young Award winner.. omigoshhh.
now the Mariners suddenly seem huge contenders for the AL West championship.. LA Angels and Texas probably shaking in their knees right now. =D cannot wait to see what other deals Jack will unveil, I'm sure, as with every other M's fan, he's not done yet. definitely not.
2010 Mariners: Felix Hernandez, Cliff Lee, Ryan Rowland-Smith (hope!) in the starting rotation; Chone Figgins, Franklin Gutierrez, Jack Wilson, Jose Lopez and of course, Ichiro in the field; David Aardsma, Sean White, Mark Lowe in the relief bullpen.. and everyone else I haven't mentioned OMG Mariners!! Oh and i shouldnt forget Wak and the coaching team, of course. loads of love from Mariners fans on
